IMEC hosted its first members’ Meet & Greet event on Friday, April 10, at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. 50+ current and potential members participated in an elevator pitch event where each IMEC member spoke for 2 minutes each about the work they do, what they can do for the others, and what they are looking for. Each member had their customized one-page profile displayed on the big screen behind them. Refreshments were provided by the Living Arts Centre. Overall, the first IMEC Meet & Greet/ Elevator Pitch event received widespread approval. More such events will now be organized in the days to come.
